The recipe is suitable for all healthy dogs to eat and designed to nourish the heart and blood. It acts as an energy booster with a calming effect. Essentially, it aims to balance the constitution of dogs with heart disease. Bearing in mind, some symptoms of heart disease may include heart palpitations, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue and dry feces (please confirm the diagnosis with your vet). The protein level has been adjusted to a mid-low level to account for any diuretic usage. We have accounted for the nutritional balance by adding, taurine and nutrients supplement powder with low sodium formulation. This recipe is also suitable for the other disease conditions like anemia, early kidney disease, emotional or behavioral disorder, endocrine disorder, post-operation recovery,recovery period of tick fever, blood deficiency and age-related conditions.

Beef Heart: It is a heavier, more dense ingredient that’s packed with protein and other essential, unique nutrients that are important to dog’s health, such as vitamins B, Iron, Zinc, Selenium, Phosphorus, Vitamin A, amino acids, enzymes, fatty acids, collagen and elastin. Beef heart can help boost heart health and support the basic functioning of cells. It can also help build muscle, create and store energy, increase stamina and endurance, help relieve symptoms of disease, and support healthy joints.
Dried Longan: It possess anti-inflammatory properties which can be used as a supplement for treatment of inflammatory-related diseases. You can get vitamins B1, B2 and B3 from longan. It is also a good source of free radical-scavenging vitamin C. It is rich in iron, copper, potassium and magnesium too. Longan has been linked to many benefits like promoting optimal blood circulation, improving the appearance of the coat and maintaining cardiovascular health.
Gojiberry (Wolfberry): Reduces the risk of medical conditions related to free radicals. Antioxidants present in goji berries also boost the immune system. A rich source of minerals, and vitamins which include (but not limitedto) sodium, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, vitaminC, carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, lutein, lycopene, zeaxanthin, polysaccharides,betaine, and peptidoglycans. Biota Seed: Biota seed can help to calm the spirit while preserving the dog or cat's unique personality. The seeds are usually used as a sedative, and are often a component of various shen, or spirit, tonics.Among the conditions biota seed is used to treat are irritability, insomnia,anxiety and constipation. Biota seed have calming properties and can nourish the blood, moisturize the intestines and resolve constipation.
Spinach: Provides essential vitamins like folate, niacin, vitaminA, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin K, and contains traces of other important vitamins, like thiamine and riboflavin. These benefit the neurological system. Helps with bone mineralization and aids the digestive system. Beneficial blood tonic with a soothing effect on the liver.

Broccoli: Shown to have anti-cancer effects, aid in fighting infections, treat skin and heart problems and help metabolize drugs and excrete toxins. Nourishes the kidneys and the brains, strengthens the bones and the digestive system.
Jujube(Red Dates): The jujube fruit is a rich source of both iron and phosphorous, which are key ingredients in the red blood cells. By increasing your iron and phosphorous intake with jujube fruit, you can increase blood flow, thereby oxygenating your organ systems more effectively.

Taurine Powder: Taurine is an important amino acid. Taurine aids in cardiac function, eye health, immune system function, and in multiple other systems. Taurine is especially concentrated in the heart muscle and contributes to it functioning properly. When taurine levels are low though, the heart becomes weaker and pumps less efficiently. Taurine levels can be boosted simply by adding (or increasing) meat-based protein or any supplement in your pet’s diet.
